Mark Mazur Named New President

Mark Mazur becomes the new President and begins the much-needed Transformation at Value-Added Processing, Inc.

On October 1, 2017, Mark Mazur took over Value Added Processing Inc. as the new President. After working at Value Added for over four years learning the business and industry, Mark gained inside insights into how the culture, strategy, and business needed to undergo a massive change if the company was to survive and thrive. He’d spent years under constant opposition to the prior leadership’s management of the business, and spent his time developing an aggressive strategy for the “New Value Added Processing,” while also building key relationships that would be vital for carrying his vision forward.

Since Mark’s takeover in October, VAP has undergone a complete transformation, starting a change in company culture and business philosophy. On Day 1, Mark replaced the plant management, and implemented a new incentive plan based on: production, quality, attendance, and safety. His new incentive plan worked to instill a team-oriented pit-crew mentality, with all shifts working together as ONE team.

In just a few short months, Mark has worked diligently in partnership with his brand new management and sales teams to achieve their shared vision to completely re-brand and revamp the company strategy, business philosophy, and culture towards one that emphasizes the value of teamwork, accountability, trust, quality, and genuine care for VAP’s employees and customers.
